As 2019 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year. This year, we had the pleasure of opening Guardian Storage properties in Allegheny Valley, Bethel Park, Aurora, and Greeley. We’ve also been very appreciative to receive quite a few awards and recognition this year. We feel very proud to be recognized for our customer service, company culture, and property portfolio that we pride ourselves in. Thank you to everyone who helped us grow and succeed in 2019. We look forward to everything 2020 has in store!

2019 Awards & Recognition: A Year in Review

Customer Service Team of the Year Gold Stevie Award Winner

On February 22, Guardian Storage was presented with a Gold Stevie Award in the Customer Service Team of the Year category in the 13th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top honors for customer service. More than 2,700 nominations from organizations across 45 nations and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide in seven specialized judging committees.

Superior Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award

This year, the team at our Superior, Colorado property was awarded the coveted Business of the Year Award from the Superior Chamber of Commerce. It was an absolute honor to be recognized by other local businesses and organizations for our work in the community.

1^st Place for Best Storage Facility – 2019 Best of Boulder East County

We are so honored to be recognized by Boulder Weekly as the Best Storage Facility in Boulder East County! Boulder County residents voted through Boulder Weekly to choose the “Best of Boulder” in the categories of food, drink, entertainment and culture, fitness and health, and retail. 2019 marked the first year of voting for Best Storage Facility, and we are thrilled to have been the first storage company to take the title!

This year, Guardian Storage ranked #49 in Mini Storage Messenger’s Top 100 Storage Operators List. This list is compiled of storage operators that have set the industry’s standards for the storage business. The ranking is based on total net rentable square feet.

We are excited to be ranked #48 in Inside Self-Storage’s 100 Top Storage Operators List. The list is an annual compilation of the industry’s leading players. It is ranked by total square footage at all properties owned by the top operators of the self-storage industry.

Pennsylvania Top Rated Local Self Storage Property 

This year, Guardian Storage Shadyside was named a Pennsylvania Top Rated Local Self Storage Property! This award is given to the three highest-ranking storage centers in Pennsylvania based on their positive reviews and Rating Score. We are so honored to receive this award and are incredibly appreciative of everyone who took the time to leave us a review!
